How to Publish Your Own ebook program at HCH Library July 15





A course on how to publish your own ebook will be taught at the Henry Carter Hull Library on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 6:30 pm by independent publisher and author Jennifer Boudinot. Instruction on how to upload your ebook to Amazon and Barnes & Noble, how to set your price, and get paid will be demonstrated. Essential online marketing tips will be shared and ebook questions answered. Please register at hchlibrary.org.

Press Release: AIA Connecticut Design Awards Exhibit at HCH Library in July



AIA Connecticut 2013 Design Awards Exhibit at HENRY CARTER HULL LIBRARY, 10 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton, CT for the month of JULY. The AIA Connecticut Design committee is pleased to announce winners in the 2012 Design Awards program, a comprehensive program that recognizes design excellence in projects in Connecticut or by Connecticut architects. Jurors Deborah Berke, FAIA, Deborah Berke & Partners, LLP, New York City; Hillary Brown, FAIA, New Civic Works, New York City; and David Helpern, FAIA, Helpern Architects, New York City selected 24 winning projects from a pool of over 170 submissions.

Letter writing Workshop at HCH Library



Blogger, letter writer, and postal carrier Carol Christmas will be at HCH Library on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 6:30 pm running a letter writing workshop.

Participants will explore the art of handwritten letters, and learn about form, content, handwriting, and useful materials. Please register at hchlibrary.org and bring a pen, stationary, addresses, stamps, and a desire to connect.
