Learn how to use JobNow and ReferenceUSA
for Job Seekers

Jobseekers and those looking to improve their résumé are invited to the Henry Carter Hull Library on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 5:30 pm for a live demonstration of the JobNow and ReferenceUSA.

JobNow is an online service that the library subscribes to which provides free résumé critiques and live interview chat sessions with job coaches. ReferenceUSA is a directory of company information that can be useful in job searches.
Librarian David Boudinot will demonstrate the strengths of both online services.

This event is free and registration is not required.

Representatives from Stomp N Crush, a wine and beer making supply store in Clinton, will be back at the Henry Carter Hull Library on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 6:30 pm leading a seminar on how to make wine. Learn about the kinds of wine you can make at home and receive advice on everything from the equipment you need to different varieties of grapes.

What’s the deal with evolution and intelligent design? Why are they so controversial in education? Jason Feeney, a teacher at Waterford High School has studied the issues
of presenting these topics to classrooms and will look at both sides of the debate.
