PAT MCKIERNAN
DISCUSSES
LINCOLN'S MORAL SENSE

Pat McKiernan, the former English Department head at The Morgan School, is presenting a talk at the Henry Carter Hull Library titled "Abraham Lincoln's Moral Sense: Its Impact Upon Saving the Union" on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 6:30 pm.

When we define moral sense, we focus upon issues of right and wrong about the behavior of ourselves and others. It shapes social order toward growth or decline. As Abraham Lincoln led the nation, he proceeded morally throughout a brutal civil war. At this program, McKiernan will encourage you to compare your moral sense with that of Abraham Lincoln.
