Genealogy Showcase: Godfrey Memorial Library
Wednesday, August 12, 2009, 6:30 p.m.

Alice and Carl Charest of the Godfrey Memorial Library in Middletown, are giving a genealogy resource presentation at the Henry Carter Hull Library on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm. Advice on how to start researching your family history and the resources available at the Godfrey Memorial Library will be shared.

The Godfrey Memorial Library was established in 1947 to promote the study of family history and has become a premier destination for genealogists studying New England history. Several specialized databases, including the American Genealogical Biographical Index, have been developed there, and are utilized by researchers worldwide.

This event is free and no registration is required.

More information can be found at www.hchlibrary.org or by calling the Henry Carter Hull Library at (860) 669-2342.

New policy as of 07/07/2009! SEVEN for SEVEN!

Seven SEVEN Seven!

The Henry Carter Hull Library has again been ranked #9 on the HAPLR list for the year 2009.

This is the fifth year in a row that we have been ranked in the top 20 public libraries in the U.S.A. for population sizes between 10,000 and 25,000.

In celebration of this great achievement, we are changing our movie policy.

After July 7th, 2009, you may check out Seven movies for Seven days beginning 07/07!
Thank you for helping us to reach this goal.
