Project Vote Smart’s National Bus Tour to deliver Voter’s Self-Defense System in Clinton

Clinton, CT –Project Vote Smart’s Voter’s Self-Defense System bus will be stopping at the Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton, Connecticut on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. as part of a national tour.

Visitors to the bus will be able to watch a short video about Project Vote Smart in a small custom made movie theatre. Laptop computers will be available for visitors to learn first hand about the different methods you can use to research political candidates and current elected officials. Project Vote Smart board members will also be available to share information about the Voter’s Self Defense System, their national tour, and politics in the United States.

The Voter’s Self-Defense System was designed to teach voters how to defend themselves against the rhetoric and misinformation that comes out of political campaigns today.

Project Vote Smart is a non-profit, non-partisan national library of information on 40,000 candidates for public office at all levels of government.
